I want Reggie Watts’s hair.
But I’d settle for his talent.

From the agency that introduced millions to the Geico Gecko, and the minds behind the “Virginia is for Lovers” campaign, the Martin Agency is one of Richmond’s most well known exports. Quietly located at the end of a cobblestone round-about in Shockoe Bottom, the award winning agency is housed in a space that evokes creativity. The notorious firm opened its doors for a rare glimpse inside.

Come back to Dirty Richmond tomorrow to watch Bree Davis’ video of the Martin Agency visit.

My god, this Little Caesars commercial is awful. I’ve seen commercials for local car dealerships that are better than - and probably cost a fraction of - this piece of junk. With each new OCP came a new urge to call the CEO and tell him/her to fire their Director of Marketing for being so wasteful with their budget. Adding insult to injury is that Little Caesars used to be famous for their charming commercials. But clearly, those days are long gone.

I could easily spend a month or more in here.

This beautiful video by Glen Milner on how books are made will make you want to toss out your Kindle.

I’m medium on this commercial overall, but if you’ve ever worked with kids, you’ll appreciate this hilarious performance.

God, these are cool. So simple, but so good. If you don’t get them at first, keep looking.
